IIT Goa student gets Rs 1.1cr pay package

98% BTech and MTech students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Goa, received placements. The highest package bagged by a student was Rs 1.1 crore, institute director B K Mishra said. 73 out of 74 BTech students and 21 out of 22 M tech students have been placed with average packages of Rs 23.4 and Rs 12.4 lakh per annum, respectively. Students have also secured 12 international offers, he said.
