IIT Roorkee 175th year celebration
As part of the 175th year celebrations of IIT Roorkee, physical get-togethers of alumni followed by lunch/dinner have been planned by IIT Roorkee in various cities of India. In this regard we are happy to inform you that IIT Roorkee celebrated alumni meet at Gandhinagar (Gujrat), Kathmandu (Nepal), Kolkata (West Bengal) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
The next alumni meet, hosted by IIT Roorkee, is now planned in London, UK on September 17, 2022.
The Director, IIT Roorkee; Deputy Director, IIT Roorkee; Dean, Resources and Alumni Affairs (DORA), and some other faculty members from IIT Roorkee are expected to join the event.
We look forward to your enthusiastic participation.
Event Highlights:
- Presentation by IIT Roorkee
- Opportunity for Networking and family get together
- Three course sumptuous buffet dinner, soft drinks
- Music, dance with professional Bollywood DJ
- Opportunity to dress up in elegant Indian, Western dresses
- Alcohol can be purchased at the bar

20:00-20:30 – Presentation by IIT Roorkee
20:30-21:00 – Performance by fellow IITians
21:00-22:00 – Main Course and Desserts
22:00-23:30 – Music and dance with Bollywood DJ

Hello Ajay and the other organisations. Myself and my wife Sudakshina would like to attend the 17th gathering if there is still space there.
I find it difficult to drive in the night so was not sure of attending but today our Kuldeepji has confirmed that we can go in his car.
Please let me know if it ok for us to attend.
