January session details: Central Bank Digital Currency – one of the biggest disruptions in the history of banking has arrived!

Animesh (IIT KGP, 1999), founder and CEO of KornChain, will introduce the topic. He will cover:

  • What is CBDC?
  • Why the governments and central banks are interested in it?
  • What are the implications on general public and the financial services industry?
  • How the blockchain technology will support CBDC?
  • What are the benefits of CBDC?

KornChain is a technology company that is advancing a global network for Programable Currency Distribution and Exchange on Blockchain.

Animesh led the KornChain team to deliver a network that helps enterprises to issue, distribute and exchange digital currencies like air-miles, reward points, benefits across multiple channels and geographies seamlessly. KornChain has developed all the capabilities that financial institutions will need to issue, distribute and transact CBDCs.

      Hi Rajib,

      The meeting was scheduled for 6-6:30 p.m. It ended around 6:45.
