The IIT Alumni Association UK is thrilled to return to the vibrant city of Glasgow for our landmark 5th Annual Scotland Summer Networking Lunch on Saturday, 27th June 2026! We’re celebrating this special milestone year by bringing our alumni and families together for a fantastic afternoon. Join us for a great blend of relaxed networking, delicious Indian food, and wonderful company.

Cruise on the Thames, Saturday 4th July

Summer is the time to enjoy the weather with friends and family. And what better way than to spend that with your fellow IIT Alumni and their families sailing on a cruise on the Thames along with dancing to the tunes of a DJ belting Bollywood songs. After the hugely successful event in 2022 and 2024, the event is back this summer on popular demand.

Join in on the 4th of July at 5:30 pm at Temple Pier on the Golden Spirit, one of the best London party venues on the River Thames. As we set sail in the late afternoon, you’ll have the unique opportunity to witness the vibrant London skyline transform, capturing the city’s beauty in both the glow of daylight and the sparkling hues of the night. It promises to be an event which would be remembered for long with lots of opportunity for participation by children and families.

IIT AA UK are pleased to organise this year’s Annual Picnic in Hampstead Heath, next to East Heath Car Park. One can easily walk to summit of the Parliament Hill from where one can get great views of London’s many landmarks such as Canary Wharf, the Gherkin, the Shard and St Paul’s Cathedral.

Event Highlights:

It is expected to be an excellent day out and opportunity for networking with families, couples and children having the opportunity to have lots of fun and games.

Stand up comedy book read by Aina Rao, author of the hilarious book Ambling Indian Diaries & the quirky blog www.amblingindian.com.

Delicious vegetarian lunch will be served with soft drinks. You can bring your own alcoholic drinks. All members, their families and guests are welcome.

The Annual General Body Meeting for 2025 is scheduled for the 12th of July 2025.

1. To receive the report by the Chairman.
2. To receive and approve the unaudited accounts of the charity.
3. To authorise the Trustees to nominate the examiner(s) for the accounts.
4. To approve the amendments to the Constitution.
5. To receive and approve the election process.
6. To approve that the number of Trustees.
7. To announce the nominations and if there are more nominations than positions, to elect the Trustees.
8. Any other business.
