Nothing Signs MoUs with IIT Roorkee and IISc-FSID to Boost Deep-Tech Innovation
London-based consumer tech company Nothing has signed separate Memoranda of Understanding with IIT Roorkee and the IISc-linked Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development (FSID), announced at the Bharat Innovates 2026 event in Nice, France. The partnerships — signed by Nothing's India President Akis Evangelidis alongside IIT Roorkee Director Prof. K.K. Pant — aim to drive mentorship, startup enablement, and closer industry-academia collaboration. The ceremony was attended by senior figures including Union Minister Piyush Goyal and IIT Roorkee Board of Governors chairman Harish Salve, underlining the push to spotlight India's deep-tech startup ecosystem internationally.
