IIT Mandi Launches 3 New BTech Courses, Including First-Ever Quantum Science & Engineering Programme
IIT Mandi has introduced three new BTech programmes for the 2026 intake, adding 90 seats in total (30 each) via JEE Advanced ranks and JoSAA counselling: Quantum Science and Engineering — the institute's first-ever course in the field, covering quantum computing, communication, sensing and hardware alongside CS and maths — Agricultural Engineering with Data Analytics (combining agri-engineering with AI, IoT and remote sensing), and Chemical Engineering with Data Analytics (blending chemical engineering with process simulation, computational modelling and data science, with an option for a minor or second major). The move reflects a push to align undergraduate offerings with emerging, industry-relevant skills.
