Multi City Networking Drinks
Our Alumni in the UK are distributed all around the country.
We are pleased to announce our first Multi City networking event.
Based on the location information we have, we have identified a number of clusters for our Alumni. (You can view this map cluster on our Alumni Directory page – you need to be logged in)
So, we will have simultaneous in person networking events at the following locations:
Birmingham– Venue is cancelled due to low takeup, please choose another- Bromley
Central London– Venue is full, please choose another- Glasgow/Edinburgh
- Harrow/Watford
- Manchester
- Milton Keynes
- Reading
The event is to be held on the 10th of June 2022 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m
Final confirmation of the locations and venue will be dependent on your registration, so please register early. Venue details will be informed closer to the date.
You are welcome to bring your partner/spouse. Please indicate the same when registering so we can plan the numbers.
The event is an informal networking event, so it is a buy your own drinks and food arrangement.
If none of the locations above is ideal, there is an option to suggest a different location. We shall try to add more if there are sufficient numbers.

I am in Leeds, I will also mention Leeds as alternate location. However, I would like to travel to place where there are more people. Is it flexible to change location once the registrations are consolidated?

There should be no issue changing locations once we have registrations confirmed. I agree, the more the better at one location.

We now live in Fordwich, close to Canterbury. I am looking forward to connecting with other IIT alumni. Am from IIT Kanpur class of 1982.
Are there other IIT alumni living or working in the South East of UK? If so we can find an appropriate location East of London.

I think there are enough people around Cambridge. Do register with Cambridge as an alternate suggestion – if there are enough, then why not?

I am based in Cambridge and Milton Keynes is the closest venue to me.
Would prefer similar events to be held in Cambridge as well as it is well connected to multiple locations around, so might be accessible to many.
10th as a date is not very convenient this time but really look forward to upcoming such events.
By any chance any one based in Cambridge or around? Would love to catch up.

I just saw this information…am from 1983 batch (then BHU-IT) and would have loved to attend the event at Reading location. Have recently moved to Guildford from India. Hope to catch the next one!
